Gildon's flag and was the royal army's
mount of choice up until Empress
Amarla infected them with Mereck's
disease.

Form of Government

Monarchy.

Gildon's royal line has been blessed
with a long-lived advisor, Warren Rey,
who can foresee possible futures. If
not for his guidance, Gildon's royal
line would have been broken in one of
the many war fronts.

Gustine serves as Gildon's capitol,
but for a short time, King Holt Duran
moved the capitol to the eastern city
of Larynx.

Terrain & Climate

Gildon has the most varied climates
and terrains of West New Pangaea. To
the north are frozen mountains, and to
the south is a deadly swamp. In
central Gildon, woods and plains can
be found where an unusual plant grows
and produces plastic granules.

Gildon's current queen woke and
maintains a patch of Elven land in the
east. However, more and more Elven
flora spreads throughout the kingdom
despite the lack of a substantial
Elven population on this mostly mortal
land.

Populace

Gildon's population was 4 million
before the current queen's reign. The
population was 99% Human. During her
reign, the population has increased to
5.9 million. Humans currently make up
68% of the population, due the
immigration of Hybrids (5%), Elves
(12%), Wizards (11%), and Dwarves
(4%).

Other countries consider Gildon to be
war hungry, though Gildon has never
annexed its defeated foes. Gildon does
have the strongest mortal military in
West New Pangaea, which allowed it to
withstand attacks from the bordering
Elven nations.

Gildon's high yielding plastic crop
and closely guarded processing
techniques have allowed Gildonners to
protect against Elven magics and
Wizardry. Plastic is impervious to any
and all spells.

Also, Gildonners have the ability for
mind shields, an internal mechanism
beneath the skull that allows them to
block Elven mind waves.

"Gildon" is a combination of my
husband's last name and mine. This
country is by far my favorite of West
New Pangaea.
