Lizeria flees her mother's
crumbling empire. An army of
wizards chase her. If she can
get to her remaining kin, they
can save the Empire. However,
she stumbles through the nearly
demolished Kingdom of Vinn,
where the mouthwatering
Alexander Rey tempts her with
other plans.

He waits for her. When wizards
attacked his kingdom he put up a
fight, but for selfish reasons.
Hybrid women are like sirens,
but instead of song, it's their
pheromones, a heady perfume that
stirs lust in mortals and fated
lovers. Upon her arrival,
Alexander offers her the magic
to claim her birthright, for a
price. If she'll be his and his
alone, he'll train her to raise
the Onyx Empire from its ashes
and defeat the wizards.

Something about Alexander
doesn't seem right. Though he
claims to be human, he moves
like an elf. He seduces her and
says he's her fated, but he
can't be. Electric sparks don't
pass from his skin, and mind
shields prevent her from reading
the truth. She'll have to grow
stronger to break him, but that
means learning elven king's
magic from Alexander's cursed
blackstones.

Can she bear the blackstones to
make him hers and save the
empire?

"I loved how Guardian of the Onyx
empire was such a vivid work of art.
From the beginning I really liked
Lizeria. Not everything that she did,
but that she was so real and jumped
off the pages. Ms. Gilfoy has a vivid
imagination and it shows in her work.
You can literally live in her worlds." -

Tammie King of Night Owl Romance.

"Ms. Gilfoy's witty dialogue coupled
with characters I could respect and
genuinely like made it all the more
difficult to leave this world when the
novel reached its completion. Alex and
Lizeria are strong and yet have
vulnerabilities that humanize them for
the reader, leaving you feeling as
though you've just made new friends."

"...A great story, one that keeps the
reader enthralled till the very end, and
anticipating more once the story is
done. "
