Form of Government

Stand-in monarchy under the control of
the Onyx Empire.

Vinn's true king was imprisoned by
Empress Amarla within a blackstone.
The stand-in king, Alexander Rey,
disappeared after Wizards destroyed
Vinn's palace, marketplace, and half
the homes. The ruins now lay beneath
the sand of the Onyx Desert (formerly
the Onyx Wetlands).

Terrain & Climate

Between the Onyx Wetlands and the
Hayden Plains, the humidity of the
Kingdom of Vinn depended on which way
the wind blew.

Populace

Prior to the Wizards' attack, the
Kingdom of Vinn boasted a population
of 200,000. The remaining 600
survivors fled to the Kingdom of
Madrel.

Ninety-nine percent of the population
was Human. The majority of them made a
living in by serving in the Onyx
Empire military or by offering
services to travelers.

Note from Ness

On the Magician card of the
Smith-Waite tarot deck, the word "VIN"
is carved on the table leg, just below
the symbol for air. In Latin it means
"Wilt thou?"

I like that call to duty, so I named
the Magician's (Alexander's) kingdom -
Vinn.
